Jemco Racing
Jemco Racing is a motor racing partnership between Bluefin’s Leigh Smart and Kevin Hancock. The team is based in Newmarket and runs a Ginetta G50 car in the UK-based Britcar GT championship.
This document gives background about the team, the car and the series and is intended as a prospectus for potential sponsors.
Jemco Racing was formed in late 2004 by Kevin Hancock & Leigh Smart. If you are wondering where the name is derived from, it’s the first name initials of all our kids!
The Jemco team has worked hard in the Britcar championship and have moved from being enthusiastic participants to become serious contenders with a reputation for having a lot of fun along the way.
The highlight of Jemco’s 2008 season was finishing 8th overall in the Britcar 24 Hour race at Silverstone.
